WordPress is up and running on my host — but it completely mismatches my site’s existing theme/CSS. How hard would it be to modify/write a new theme to make it fit in? Is there an easier way to do this?

How can I create a WordPress Theme without installing WordPress on my computer?  I want to create a custom WordPress theme, but I don’t have administrative access to the computer that I’m using, so I can’t install WordPress to test my theme. Is there another easy way to do it? I have photoshop, and notepad ++ both installed on my flash drive, but as far as I know there is no way to install WordPress on a flash drive.

I would like to find either a wordpress theme website or a wordpress plugin that would allow me to edit my header by replacing the default header title with my blog title without changing the code. I do not know how to read code, let alone change it so I am looking for something simple that would allow me to edit the theme from my wordpress back office. I am finding a lot of themes that I would like to use but when I upload and install them, it’s not coming up with MY blog title. I hope this makes sense. Can someone please help?? I am spending way too much time on this.

I have tried the WordPress directory but they dont have anything that I like. I would like to purchase a premium theme but I want to make sure that I will not have any problems trying to edit it or it will be a waste of money and I’ll still be in the same boat.

I’m using sqweebs.com as my host and I’d like to install wordpress themes which I know are WordPress 2.8.6 compatible. The problem is, even if I transfer it through FTP, it isn’t there! I tried putting in in the wp-content/themes folder and went onto my wordpress, it wasn’t there either. Even if I TRY to install plugins, it wouldn’t work. What should I do? Please help. I don’t even know what the problem is!
