Make Your Own Themes

GetATheme.com introduces people to blog theme creation.  As blogger myself, I found it very frustrating spending endless hours searching for WordPress themes that I could use for various projects.  Sometimes I needed a theme with bold colors and other times something soft and subtle.  Or perhaps tabbed navigation instead of a menu bar, rounded corners instead of square, a left sidebar instead of a right or maybe both.

One day I threw up my arms and said, “There’s GOT to be some kind of software out there that will allow me to easily create my own themes.”  I began searching and came upon Artisteer.  I downloaded the free trial and within minutes I had it all figured out and was creating my own WordPress themes. 

Since that time I’ve pretty much stopped developing standard HTML sites and switched to using WordPress with themes I’ve developed myself using Artisteer.
